STRETCH COTTON (COTTON/LYCRA) is an amazing custom blend of Cotton and Lycra that is made specifically to keep it's shape IN or OUT of the WATER. It even adjusts BETTER to your body when it's WET! You won't see the Lycra but YOU WILL FEEL IT when it hugs your body like a glove.
Mercerized is a treatment to cotton for added strength and silky coat, for extra softness and comfort. Mercerized cotton is Non-Strechy cotton, there is no lycra in this kind of cotton. It is 100% Cotton which has been treated (Mercerized) to make it more durable and gives a glossy, shine to the thread.
